:: How immigrant voices make democracy stronger

→ 아주 쉬운 일, 식은 죽 먹기

ex) For starter, it was a cake walk last time.

2) I joined hundreds of other immigrants in a hall in Brooklyn where we pledged our loyalty to a country that we had long considered home.

→ 약속하다, 맹세하다, 보증하다

ex) I pledge my word to loving you.

3)  I had basically floundered in various jobs in America before I started a community-based organization.

→ 버둥거리다, 허우적거리다, 고전하다

ex) She could flounder through the song.

미국은 그 어느 나라보다 다양한 인종들이 섞여있는 나라입니다. 

이번 Ted 영상은 다양한 국적에서 온 이민자들이 미국 민주주의 사회에 미치는 영향력과 장점에 대해서 이야기 하고 그러한 이민자들의 목소리가 미국 민주주의 발전에 얼마나 더 큰 영향을 미치고 있는지에 대해서 이야기 하는 영상입니다 ^^
